New real estate team to celebrate debut on Nov. 5 at The Banyan

Tyler Charles, who has quickly become one of Long & Foster Real Estate’s top agents, has launched The Charles Collective, a new real estate team based in the company’s Frederick office. The team will mark its launch with a celebration Nov. 5 from 6 to 10 p.m. at The Banyan in downtown Frederick.

Charles, who’s only 28 years old, has sold over $90 million in real estate during his seven-year career, including over $16 million last year alone. His results have earned him numerous awards, including being named as one of America’s top agents by RealTrends.

Charles built The Charles Collective on a simple belief: Client relationships should last well beyond a handshake at the closing table. He assembled a team that shares his commitment to personal service, local knowledge and serving as a resource for clients long after a sale.

“Buying or selling a home is one of the biggest decisions people make, and it shouldn’t feel like a transaction that ends when the keys change hands,” Charles said. “I started The Charles Collective so our clients have a team that knows Frederick inside and out, picks up the phone years after closing and connects them with the people and businesses that make this community home. Joining forces gives us more capacity to do that for buyers, sellers and renters across Maryland and beyond.”

The team includes Charles, its founder, and real estate consultants Jackson Brennan, Anthony Wingfield and Pierina Sequera. A lifelong Frederick native, Brennan earned his license in April 2026 and brings a genuine passion for the business and community. Wingfield has been in real estate for over six years with more than $12 million in sales in Frederick alone. Sequera moved to Maryland almost a decade ago from Venezuela, and she’s passionate about serving the Frederick community, particularly its Hispanic families.

The Charles Collective pairs a personal connection with thoughtful marketing, modern technology and a trusted network of professionals. Whether a client is buying a first home, selling a property or evaluating an investment, the team aims to provide attentive guidance and a consistently elevated experience, an approach it calls “The Collective Difference.”

While rooted in Frederick, the team serves clients in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania and West Virginia through its agents’ respective licenses. A central part of its mission is connecting clients with the local people, businesses and resources that make those communities special.

Kenneth Fagan, senior vice president and regional manager for Long & Foster in Maryland, said the new team strengthens the company’s presence in Frederick County and the surrounding region.

“The Charles Collective is an exciting opportunity to serve buyers, sellers and renters in Frederick and across Maryland even better,” Fagan said. “Tyler has brought together talented consultants who pair deep local knowledge with the full resources of Long & Foster, and our clients will feel that difference at every step.”

Fagan added that Charles embodies the company’s values.

“Tyler truly represents the core of Long & Foster and everything we stand for,” Fagan said. “He puts people first, he leads with integrity, and he makes buying and selling a home seamless and simple. Seeing him build a team around those values tells me the future of our company is in great hands.”
