Long & Foster Real Estate, the nation’s No. 1 independent real estate brand by sales volume, has named Vicki L. Hamp as senior vice president of its Corporate Real Estate Services (CRES) division. Hamp has worked in the real estate business for more than 25 years, and she previously served as regional vice president with Long & Foster’s CRES—a role she held since 2014.
“I am grateful to the leaders before me who have championed the success of the CRES division and served as my role models,” said Hamp. “I’m eager to expand those successes and pave new roads with the help of our talented CRES team.”
In Hamp’s new position, she’ll oversee the CRES division, replacing Pandra Richie, former president of Long & Foster’s CRES division, who retired at the end of December 2017. She’ll also be responsible for relocation performance, including business planning, budgeting, staffing, training and policy development.
“In today’s continually changing real estate market, it is critical that our business is supported by experienced and talented leaders like Vicki,” said Larry “Boomer” Foster and Gary Scott, presidents of Long & Foster Real Estate. “We’re confident that with her tremendous experience and leadership in the mobility industry, combined with her tireless dedication, our relocation division will continue on the path toward future growth and success.”
Hamp is dedicated to lifelong learning and she has earned numerous designations and accreditations during her extensive career. She earned the Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) designation from the Employee Relocation Council (ERC) in 1995 and the Global Mobility Specialist (GMS) designation in 2007. Hamp then went on to earn the Senior Global Mobility Specialist (SGMS) in 2013, the SGMS-T in 2014 and Senior Certified Relocation Professional (SCRP) in 2017. In addition, she is a Worldwide ERC Meritorious Service Award Recipient and Distinguished Service Award Recipient. She has also earned the Leading Real Estate Companies of the World’s (LeadingRE) President’s Service Award. These awards recognize Hamp for her service and dedication to the relocation industry.
Hamp also has held leadership roles with many of the industry’s top relocation associations. Hamp was a Board Director Trustee on the Worldwide ERC Foundation for Workforce Mobility Board of Trustees. She has been a member of the Relocation Directors Council (RDC) since 2004, both as a member of the RDC Board of Directors and as its president in 2017. She will continue to serve on the RDC Board of Directors as Chairman in 2018.
