Pandra Richie, president of Long & Foster’s Corporate Real Estate Services (CRES) division, shared her knowledge and expertise on global relocation at the Asian Real Estate Association of America’s (AREAA) Global + Luxury Summit from April 19 to 21 in Chicago. The event focused on educating AREAA members, of which there are more than 14,000 worldwide, on how to succeed in global and luxury real estate.

The summit featured over a dozen training and breakout sessions and covered a broad range of topics, from identifying the top U.S. markets for international buyers to leveraging technology for global real estate efforts. Richie spoke on a panel that addressed relocation opportunities for global business, sharing her insight on how businesses can grow in today’s mobile workplace.

“It’s critical to understand the latest trends and best practices in the real estate industry, especially when you’re working in the constantly changing relocation business,” said Richie. “The AREAA Global + Luxury Summit provided a tremendous opportunity not only to learn from the industry’s leading relocation professionals, but also to network with AREAA members and share our knowledge of how real estate is handled around the world.”

Richie was one of many noteworthy speakers at the event, which included presentations from Donald Trump Jr., of The Trump Organization, Qingyun Ma, dean of the University of Southern California’s School of Architecture, and Bill Rancic, the first winner of the television show The Apprentice. Numerous executives from the world’s leading brokerages, mortgage companies and real estate associations also were featured at the event, sharing their best practices for success in luxury and global real estate.
