Lifelong real estate leader brings agent-first perspective and deep brokerage experience

Lacey Conway has been named president of Long & Foster Real Estate, one of the nation’s largest real estate firms, as part of HomeServices of America. Conway brings more than 20 years of experience across every level of the real estate business, from agent to CEO, and will partner closely with Patrick Bain, CEO and president of The Long & Foster Companies, to advance the brokerage’s growth, culture and agent support strategy.

A lifelong real estate professional, Conway comes from a multi-generational real estate family and began her career as a teenager, interning at Latter & Blum. She later joined the firm as a real estate agent, gaining firsthand insight into the challenges and opportunities agents face. She rose through leadership roles to become CEO of Latter & Blum, one of the largest independent brokerages in the Gulf South, guiding the company through significant growth before its acquisition by Compass.

Most recently, Conway served in senior leadership at Compass, where she led merger and acquisition strategy following the Latter & Blum transaction.

“Lacey’s career reflects a deep, personal understanding of what it takes to succeed in real estate,” said Patrick Bain. “She has walked in the shoes of agents, managers and leaders, and she brings a leadership style grounded in adaptability, empathy and innovation. We are confident her perspective and experience will be a tremendous asset to Long & Foster.”

Throughout her career, Conway has been known for prioritizing agents, fostering collaboration and maintaining a targeted focus on the client experience. She is recognized for building strong, inclusive cultures that value teamwork and support agents with the tools, leadership and flexibility needed to thrive in changing markets.

“I’m honored to join Long & Foster, a company with such a strong legacy and commitment to its agents,” said Conway. “This is a brokerage that truly understands the power of teamwork, local expertise and putting people first, values that have guided my career from the very beginning.”

Conway holds an MBA from the University of New Orleans, a Bachelor of Science from Boston University, and a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation.
