Real estate brokerage wins honors for being a great place to work
The Washington Post has named Long & Foster Real Estate as a Top Workplace for 2024. This list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage LLC. The confidential survey uniquely measures the employee experience and its component themes, including employees feeling respected and supported, enabled to grow and empowered to execute, among others.
“I’m so proud of our Long & Foster family for earning this extraordinary recognition,” said Jackie Thiel, president of Long & Foster Real Estate. “Our teams work every day to make our company the successful and impressive organization that it is, living our cultures in their professional and personal lives, and this award is a true testament to each of them—our esteemed real estate agents and employees.”
More than 8,800 organizations were invited to participate in this year’s Top Workplaces program in Washington, and over 400 were surveyed. Of those participating, 250 winners were identified by Energage, grouped by employment size.
“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “That’s something to be proud of. In today’s market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That’s paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”
