Long & Foster Real Estate has been named as a No. 1 Top Workplace by the Richmond Times-Dispatch.

Long & Foster Real Estate has once again been named by the Richmond Times-Dispatch as a Top Workplace. This list is based solely on agent and employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage LLC. The confidential survey uniquely measures the employee experience, including whether team members feel respected and supported, enabled to grow, and empowered to execute, among other items.

“It’s a tremendous honor to receive such amazing feedback from our teams and to be named as a top place to work in the Richmond region,” said Dawn Bradley, senior vice president and regional manager of Long & Foster’s Richmond region. “I’m extraordinarily grateful for the amazing agents and employees who contribute every day to make Long & Foster the successful company that it is, all while living our culture.”

Over 1,700 companies, nonprofits and government divisions were invited to participate in this year’s Top Workplaces program in Richmond, and 130 were surveyed. Of those participating, 98 winners were identified by Energage, grouped by employment size—Mega (900+ employees), Large (400-899 employees), Midsize (125-399 employees) and Small (124 or fewer employees). Long & Foster earned recognition in the Large category.

“I’m so proud of our Long & Foster family in Richmond for earning this extraordinary recognition,” said Jackie Thiel, president of Long & Foster Real Estate. “This award is a true testament to our agents and employees who work hard every day to provide our clients with the best possible experience. It’s these efforts that enable us to remain the top real estate company in the Richmond region.”

“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “That’s something to be proud of. In today’s market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That’s paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”

The Times-Dispatch will release the ranking of the top-ranking businesses later this spring. You can view the list of companies named as Top Workplaces by the Richmond Times-Dispatch here.
