Patrick Bain Ranks Among Industry’s Top Leaders

January 14, 2026

Patrick Bain, president and CEO of The Long & Foster Companies, parent company of Long & Foster Real Estate, has been named to the 2026 Swanepoel Power 200. Bain ranked No. 94 among the most influential leaders in residential real estate in his third consecutive year of being honored on the list.

The Swanepoel Power 200 is an annual ranking that recognizes executives whose leadership and decision-making have a significant impact on the real estate industry. Bain is one of more than a dozen leaders at HomeServices of America, Long & Foster’s parent company, who were celebrated on this year’s list.

“I’m honored to be included among this year’s Swanepoel Power 200,” said Bain. “This recognition reflects the strength of our organization and the dedication of Long & Foster’s agents and employees who support our clients and communities every day.”

Since taking on his current role in 2023, Bain has led enterprise strategy for The Long & Foster Companies, with a focus on advancing the organization’s All-Inclusive Real Estate Experience. This approach brings together the services and expertise needed to buy, sell, rent, own and invest in real estate — including mortgage, title, insurance, inspections, property management and moving services. During his tenure, Bain has expanded the All-Inclusive Experience as a key business differentiator, delivering added value for agents and a more seamless experience for clients.

Bain’s inclusion on the 2026 Power 200 list highlights his continued influence as the industry evolves and adapts to changing market conditions. To learn more about Long & Foster, visit LongandFoster.com.
