Long & Foster Real Estate, the largest independent residential real estate company in the United States, has named Mandie Weller as the new branch manager at its Mount Airy, Md., office. Weller brings to her new position a wealth of experience in sales, both within the real estate industry and the automotive business.
“I’m thrilled to lead the fantastic team of real estate professionals at Long & Foster’s Mount Airy office, and I’m excited for this amazing opportunity,” said Weller. “Long & Foster is known for attracting high-caliber sales associates and clientele by providing the best and latest tools, technology and training, and I look forward to helping our agents build their careers in real estate and to further growing the Long & Foster brand in our region.”
Weller comes to Long & Foster from a competing firm where she served as a team leader and sales associate. As a Realtor, she worked with buyers and sellers on a number of transactions, earning status as a top producer with annual sales volumes of nearly $6 million. Prior to entering the real estate business, Weller had a successful career with Toyota for over 20 years. In that role, she was one of the top sales associates across the company’s East Coast divisions.
“Supporting today’s real estate sales professionals takes a highly knowledgeable, experienced leader,” said Cindy Ariosa, senior vice president and regional manager of Long & Foster’s Baltimore and western Maryland region. “We are confident that adding Mandie to the Long & Foster leadership team will result in the synergy on which our agents thrive. This is how our company has continued to help local buyers and sellers meet their homeownership goals for the past 45 years.
“Additionally, I want to thank Sharon Crisafulli for managing both Long & Foster’s Frederick/Hagerstown and Mount Airy offices while we searched for our new leader in Mount Airy. We’re truly grateful for Sharon’s contributions.”
Weller is a lifelong Frederick County resident and currently resides in Middletown, Md. She has two sons, Alex and Chase, and in her spare time, she likes to spend time with her family, ride her bike along the Chesapeake & Ohio (C&O) Canal and visit local wineries.
