Event allows real estate agents, brokerage to give back to the local
The Ocean City, MD office of Long & Foster Real Estate, will participate in the company’s Community Service Day on June 25. The Ocean City office will join the brokerage’s over 170 offices in the day of giving back by holding a beach clean-up. Participants can meet at the beach at 118th St. just north of the Carousel Hotel, in Ocean City, Maryland.
“Getting involved in our beach cleanup allows us to give something back to our community and local beach. Doing something good for the Ocean City community, and knowing you are making a difference can make the beach a more pleasant and safer place for everyone. Cleaning the beach also improves the coastal and ocean ecosystem,” said Stan Zaremba, manager of the Ocean City office.
Long & Foster sales associates and employees from throughout the company will participate in a variety of volunteer activities during Community Service Day. In past years, these activities included cleaning up, refurbishing and repairing nearby parks, schools, shelters, homes and day care centers, and providing other assistance to local organizations that offer crucial services to the community.
“Since our founding in 1968, we’ve been dedicated to giving back to the communities in which we live and work, and our annual Community Service Day event is one example of how we do that,” said Patrick Bain, president and CEO of The Long & Foster Companies, parent company of Long & Foster Real Estate. “Community Service Day allows our team to make a positive impact on our local communities, and our agents and employees thoroughly enjoy this opportunity to contribute their time and effort. Whether it’s through our annual Community Service Day or one of our other charitable projects, we’re truly glad to give back.”
