Event allows real estate agents, brokerage to give back to the local community

The North Potomac/Rockville office of Long & Foster Real Estate will participate in the company’s Community Service Day on May 20. The North Potomac/Rockville office in Gaithersburg, Maryland, will join the brokerage’s over 200 offices in a day of giving back by volunteering at 189 Kentlands Blvd., Gaithersburg for our annual Shred/Recycle Event.

“This is an annual event and it is our opportunity to give back to the community that we are so grateful to be a part of and to personally meet residents of the area,” said Janice Raffel, vice president and manager of the office.  

Long & Foster sales associates and employees from throughout the company will participate in a variety of volunteer activities during Community Service Day. In past years, these activities included cleaning up, refurbishing and repairing nearby parks, schools, shelters, homes and daycare centers, and providing other assistance to local organizations that offer crucial services to the community.
