Long & Foster's Norfolk, Va., Office Moves to New Location

Brokerage relocates to the popular Ghent neighborhood

The Norfolk, Va., office of Long & Foster Real Estate, the largest independent residential real estate company in the United States, has moved to 200 W. 21st Street in the Ghent neighborhood, a vibrant and hip area of Norfolk. The new location provides the firm with high visibility in the historic Ghent community and is a great convenience for the office’s customers.

Candy Dennis, who has served as branch manager at the Norfolk office for over 15 years, will continue to lead the team of about 45 sales associates. In addition to the new office’s convenient location, it also offers agents the latest technology and facilities, both of which will greatly benefit not only the team at Long & Foster, but also their many clients.

“We constantly tell buyers and sellers that location is everything in real estate—our new office location certainly holds true to this adage,” said Dennis. “Our sales team is looking forward to welcoming buyers and sellers into the office, which is in a very convenient location with ample parking.”

Scott Shaheen, senior vice president of Long & Foster’s Hampton Roads region, shared Dennis’ enthusiasm for the new facility. “Our level of customer service is further enhanced with one-stop shopping—in addition to our professionally trained agents and staff, this location is also home to our affiliated businesses, Prosperity Home Mortgage and Sage Title. With eight offices in the Hampton Roads region, we are well positioned to serve all real estate needs,” Shaheen said.

Gary Scott, president of Long & Foster Real Estate, added that Long & Foster has been home to the best-trained and best-equipped agents in the industry for more than 45 years. “We have no doubt that the new Norfolk office will be the go-to resource when consumers in the Virginia Beach area are looking to make confident, well-informed buying and selling decisions,” Scott said.

Long & Foster will host an open house for agents and the public at the new office on Tuesday, July 22, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information, visit www.LongandFoster.com.
