Long & Foster’s Baltimore Offices to Host Community Service Day

June 6, 2024

Event allows real estate agents, brokerage to give back to the local community

The Baltimore offices of Long & Foster Real Estate will participate in the company’s Community Service Day on June 18. The offices will join the brokerage’s over 170 offices in a day of giving back by volunteering for The Baltimore Hunter Project by assembling snack bags to help eliminate childhood hunger.

“In our ongoing commitment to our community’s welfare, we are proud to assemble snack bags to support the important mission of eliminating childhood hunger in our community,” said Guy Sabatino and Jay Weitzel, managers of the offices.

Long & Foster sales associates and employees from throughout the company will participate in a variety of volunteer activities during Community Service Day. In past years, these activities included cleaning up, refurbishing and repairing nearby parks, schools, shelters, homes and day care centers, and providing other assistance to local organizations that offer crucial services to the community.

“Community Service Day allows our team to make a positive impact on our local communities, and our agents and employees thoroughly enjoy this opportunity to contribute their time and effort,” said Patrick Bain, president and CEO of The Long & Foster Companies, parent company of Long & Foster Real Estate. “Whether it’s through our annual Community Service Day or one of our other charitable projects, we’re truly glad to give back.”
