Real estate professional brings over a decade of experience to the new position

Chris Jeffries, a real estate professional for over a decade, has been named manager of Long & Foster Real Estate’s Leisure World Plaza Office in Silver Spring, Md. Jeffries,who brings significant career achievements to his new position, is well respected and actively involved in the local Realtor community. Long & Foster Real Estate is the largest independent residential real estate company in the United States.

A native Washingtonian, Jeffries has focused on supporting buyers and sellers throughout the Washington, D.C., area since starting his real estate career in 2002. Earning recognition for both his sales volume and exceptional customer service, Jeffries credits his success to his commitment to educating his clients to make the best possible decisions for their needs and to serving as their trusted advisor throughout the real estate process.

Prior to joining Long & Foster, Jeffries led the business development efforts at the National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation. Through that role, he refined his ability to attract and gain new business, and he looks forward to sharing that knowledge, as well as his real estate skills and expertise, with the Long & Foster team in Leisure World Plaza.

Jeffries is a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), Maryland Association of Realtors (MAR) and the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors (GCAAR). He has previously served on the board for GCAAR and as a representative on MAR’s Political Action Committee, among other volunteer efforts. He also earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Maryland.
