Long & Foster Real Estate’s Art Herling Team, led by Vice President Janet Rubino, settled 570 homes with over $300 million in sales in 2023.
The team settled over $36 million in the first two months of 2024, with more than 100 houses settled. “We are significantly outpacing other agents and offices in the market,” said Herling. “All of our hard work, focus and systems are paying off.”
Once again, the Art Herling Team has been ranked as the top group in the Philadelphia suburbs and No. 2 in the state of Pennsylvania. The Art Herling Team has offices throughout the Delaware Valley in Blue Bell, Wayne/Devon, Doylestown and Northern Liberties to serve all of their buyer’s and seller’s geographic needs. Some of their agents are also licensed in New Jersey.
With over 43 years of real estate experience, Herling is known for his extraordinary marketing skills and exemplary personal service and has ranked on the REAL Trends the Thousand list consistently as one of the nation’s top agents. Herling was born in the Lawncrest section of Philadelphia and grew up in Flourtown Gardens. He graduated from Springfield High School (Montgomery County) and Midwestern College in Iowa and began teaching school in Philadelphia at Stetson Junior High School, then Audenreid Junior High School, then Olney High School for 11 years.
He received his master’s degree from Temple University. Herling got his Real Estate license in 1980 and practiced part time for four years, until 1984 when he “retired” from the Philadelphia School District. He managed and sold real estate for a competing broker until 1995 when he was promoted to Regional Vice President for Pennsylvania and Delaware.
In 2001, Herling became senior vice for Long & Foster in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware and grew the company to over 20 offices. In 2012, he left his senior vice president position and went back to selling and listing real estate, which is his real passion.
Over the next few years, because of people like you, his business grew to where he became the No. 1 agent in suburban Philadelphia, the No. 2 agent in Pennsylvania. Herling’s children and many other agents have joined him to make his group one of America’s top-ranked teams and one of the most dynamic real estate groups anywhere.
