Real estate agent recognized as Rookie of the Year
Gary Marquardt, a sales associate in Long & Foster Real Estate’s Easton office, has been recognized as a top-producing agent and for his community involvement. The Mid-Shore Board of Realtors (MSBR) named Marquardt as the recipient of their 2019 Rookie of the Year award.
Marquardt received the award at the MSBR conference last month, which was held at the Tidewater Inn in Easton. Marquardt has demonstrated great leadership and customer service in growing his real estate career. In 2018, he placed 10th in the single producer category among all Long & Foster agents in the Coastal Region, earning him Chairman’s Club status on Long & Foster’s coveted Gold Team. In addition to being a top producer, Marquardt is never too busy to give back to his community through many volunteer efforts.
“I’m thankful to be part of such a wonderful, supportive company that helps to make sure we can succeed as sales professionals,” said Marquardt. “I love going to the corporate events and being recognized as a team player by the president of the company, rather than just as another agent.”
Born and raised on the Eastern Shore, Marquardt is very knowledgeable about the area’s real estate market. Prior to entering into the real estate field, Marquardt was in the restaurant and catering business.
“We congratulate Gary on winning the Rookie of the Year award and for the many achievements he has earned since starting his real estate career,” said Cindy Ariosa, senior vice president and regional manager at Long & Foster. “We know he will continue to set, achieve and surpass the high goals he has set for himself and we are proud to call him a member of the Long & Foster family.”
