Buying a home is exciting. You picture backyard barbecues, movie nights and all the memories you’ll make there. Then comes the less exciting work: finalizing financing, getting the home inspected, securing homeowners insurance and preparing for closing. Each step involves different people and companies, often working on tight timelines.
A new survey of 1,000 recent homebuyers by HomeServices of America, Long & Foster’s parent company, found that 69% went into the process expecting their real estate agent to coordinate these providers for them. Yet 46% said uncoordinated service providers were the biggest hassle of their homebuying experience.
That’s a big gap, and one worth thinking about if you’re considering buying a home. At Long & Foster, we’ve spent nearly 60 years learning how to make buying and selling less stressful for our clients.
One way we do that is by bringing together everything and everyone you need to buy, sell, rent and own real estate. When you work with our team, you get access to our entire network of real estate-related services: mortgage, title, insurance, inspection, moving, property management and more, all working together as one.
It’s the kind of connected experience many buyers say they want. In fact, 79% of those surveyed said that, if buying again, they’d prefer an integrated system coordinated by their agent over selecting and managing separate providers themselves. At Long & Foster, we call our approach the All-Inclusive Real Estate Experience, and our goal is simple: to make the process easier for you.
