Hellman is one of 25 industry professionals nationwide selected
Alyssa Hellman, sales manager at Long & Foster Real Estate’s Arlington, Va., office, has been named as an Ambassador at the upcoming Inman News Real Estate Connect. Hellman is one of 25 real estate professionals in the country selected to serve to support Inman News at the industry conference, which is set for July 16 to 18 in San Francisco.
“Helping agents to achieve success in real estate is one of my passions, and I’m thrilled to serve as a Real Estate Connect Ambassador,” said Hellman. “Similar to the role I hold at Long & Foster’s Arlington office, being an Ambassador provides me the opportunity not only to encourage real estate professionals to get energized about their careers, but also to share my love of the business and helping buyers and sellers accomplish their homeownership dreams.”
Real Estate Connect Ambassadors are leaders chosen for their outstanding work in the industry, dedication to the vision of Inman News and their work in raising the bar via education and events. As an influencer within the real estate sphere, each Ambassador engages in thoughtful outreach in their online and offline communities. They also showcase a passion for collaborating with Inman News on the Real Estate Connect experience. Hellman, for example, spoke at Inman News’ Real Estate Connect New York City in January, and her contributions at that event led to her selection as an Ambassador for Real Estate Connect San Francisco.
Hellman, who has been a sales manager with Long & Foster’s Arlington office since October 2013, began her career in real estate at the top-producing Long & Foster Bethesda Gateway office in Bethesda, Md., in 2011. Surrounded by top professionals in the region, Hellman honed her skills and began using her knowledge to approach real estate in her own way. Her desire to learn helps her stay ahead of market trends and real estate techniques, and her use of cutting-edge technologies in advertising and social media allows her to set herself apart and better serve both her clients and her colleagues.
“The Inman Community continues to see incredible growth, and I’m excited that this year’s Ambassadors reflect the global influence and passion of Inman’s readers and stakeholders,” said Laura Monroe, director of industry outreach and social media at Inman News. “We view our Ambassadors as an extension of the Inman Team. They’re a critical component to creating the engaging, offline networking experiences that make Connect attendees come back year after year.”
