Long & Foster Real Estate has named industry veteran Tina Holt as the managing broker of its Oceanfront and Shore Drive/Coastal offices in Virginia Beach. Holt, a real estate professional with over 25 years of experience, will also oversee Long & Foster’s locations along the Eastern Shore of Virginia. In addition, Long & Foster has named Jeremy Caleb Johnson as a sales manager to work with Holt.
“By bringing together our coastal locations, we not only strengthen our intra-company connections, but also make it even easier for our coastal agents to work together and for us to provide even greater support to our associates and their clients,” said Brian Haug, senior vice president and regional manager of Long & Foster in Hampton Roads, Southwest Virginia and Richmond. “With Tina leading our coastal teams in their strategic business development and operations and Jeremy helping on training and technology initiatives, we’re poised to achieve continued growth in the real estate marketplace.”
In her new role, Holt will oversee day-to-day operations and business strategy for the Coastal Virginia offices, which do business along the Eastern Shore to Virginia Beach and northeastern North Carolina, as well as the Outer Banks. She also will provide core broker support for Long & Foster’s agents, helping them manage their transactions and develop their businesses. Additionally, at the firm’s Eastern Shore locations in Cape Charles, Onancock and Chincoteague, Holt will work closely with the offices’ team leads and administrative staff to ensure their ongoing business success.
Johnson will assist Holt on training of the company’s marketing and technology programs. He will teach Long & Foster agents how to take advantage of the many Long & Foster-provided tools, including its new responsive agent websites. In addition, Johnson will work with Holt on recruiting efforts, attracting new and experienced agents to the No. 1 firm in the Mid-Atlantic.
“I’m passionate about helping Realtors to succeed in the business, and I look forward to supporting the many agents who call our coastal offices their home,” said Holt.
A native of the Hampton Roads region, Holt previously led Long & Foster’s Oceanfront office—a position she has had since 2013 and will continue with her new role. She brings significant achievements in the real estate industry to her new position and is well respected in the local market. Holt is passionate about helping real estate agents to reach their highest potential, and that commitment has proven to benefit Long & Foster’s sales associates in building their businesses throughout the Hampton Roads area.
Holt is also a strong proponent on continuing education, and she recently received the certified leadership and life coach designation from The John Maxwell Team. Holt has also earned the designations of Residential Marketing Master, Accredited Buyer’s Representative, Senior Real Estate Specialist and Certified Distressed Property Expert, and she has extensive luxury homes marketing training. In addition to working with her local Realtor associations, she is active in fundraising activities for the American Cancer Society and the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Johnson, who was recognized as the Realtor of the Year in 2016 by the Hampton Roads Realtor Association, has been active in the industry for over 15 years. As a real estate agent, he has consistently ranked amongst the top Realtors with Long & Foster—achievements that are credit to his results-oriented approach. Johnson also has a wealth of education and training expertise, having been involved in Buffini & Company coaching for over a decade, amongst other learning programs. In addition to his real estate career, Johnson serves on numerous community and civic groups, including the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce and several theater and arts groups.
