Tim Hill, a sales associate with Long & Foster® Real Estate, Inc., the largest independent residential real estate company in the United States, has been elected to the Chesapeake Bay & River Association of Realtors to serve as president for 2014.
“Giving of my time, experience and energy is an excellent way to continue to serve the real estate industry and my community,” Hill said.
A Realtor since 1978, Hill has been affiliated with Long & Foster since 1995 at the Innsbrook and Hanover and the Whitestone and Deltaville offices. Hill is a consistent multi-million dollar producer with Long & Foster’s Chairman’s Club, is a member of the Long & Foster Gold Team and serves his community in many other aspects. Hill also holds the professional designations of Historic Real Estate Specialist, as a member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and the SRS designation.
Hill has been an active member of the Richmond Association of Realtors for 37 years, and has served on a number of its committees before also becoming a member of CBRAR in 1995 where he served on the education committee and the board of directors before accepting the presidency.
Active in the community as well, Hill currently serves as the citizen representative to the Middle Peninsula Planning District, is a board member of the Mathews YMCA, serves as a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and is outgoing Fleet Surgeon of the Mathews Yacht Club.
Hill holds a business administration degree from the University of Richmond and currently resides in beautiful Mathews County with his wife, Susan, and their family.
