Fonville Morisey Realty, a Long & Foster company, has named Talvia Peterson as assistant manager and productivity coach of its Lochmere office, located in Cary, North Carolina. Peterson, who brings significant career achievements to her new position, is well respected in the local Realtor community.
Peterson has more than 20 years of experience in marketing, sales, banking and finance. Known for her exceptional customer service, she uses her entrepreneurial and negotiation skills to help clients achieve successful real estate transactions. In addition, Peterson enjoys training and inspiring others to achieve success and has coached teams of sales people across various cultures including the United States, Brazil, Peru and Colombia, South America.

A real estate sales professional for three years, Peterson has earned the designation of Certified Relocation Specialist and is a preferred tutor for North Carolina pre-licensing real estate courses. She has been honored with several Fonville Morisey awards including the Company-Wide Outgoing Referral Associate of the Year, Executives Club, Directors Club, Managers Award, Quarterly and Office Award for Outgoing Referrals, and Fast Tracker.
Originally from Central Florida, Peterson holds a master’s of business administration degree from the University of Central Florida and bachelor of science degree from the University of Florida. She is currently completing the certification requirements to teach continuing education courses for Fonville Morisey Realty. Married for 20 years, Peterson has a daughter who is a member of the National Honor Society and is a competitive cheerleader in North Raleigh.
