Vice President and Branch Manager Suzi Padgett, as well as Sales Manager Judi Gordon and their team of sales associates at the Columbia, Md., office of Long & Foster Real Estate were recently honored with the 2016 Foster Cup Award. The Foster Cup award acknowledges those who achieve excellence in real estate.

Long & Foster’s Columbia office has consistently been a leader in the local market and has ranked No. 1 in the Baltimore region for the last seven years in addition to being among the company’s top 10 offices.

“This award is a tribute to the combined efforts of our more than 200 professional sales associates, capable staff and knowledgeable service partners,” Padgett said. “It is indicative of how well this team of individuals works together.”

Padgett said she is most proud of the dedication and effort her office’s associates put forth to make a difference in their local community. Additionally, she thanks all of the clients who chose to work with the Columbia office for the opportunity to help them achieve their homeownership dreams resulting in more than 1,100 home sales for the office in 2015, she said.

Cindy Ariosa, senior regional vice president for Long & Foster’s Baltimore and western Maryland regions, said the award is well deserved by the team at the Columbia office.

“Suzi and Judi have shown wonderful leadership and are invested in seeing their agents succeed and build their careers, while also working to increase the office’s profitability and morale,” Ariosa said. “This successful environment plays an important factor in the agents’ accomplishments and it shows. Long & Foster’s leadership team is proud of the dedication of all those at the Columbia office.”

Padgett has been leading highly successful, award-winning real estate offices in the Baltimore and Washington, D.C., area for more than 25 years. She believes in having a strong focus training and business development for the sales associates she works with, and she is known for her ability to help real estate professionals grow their businesses and practices to the highest level possible.

Gordon has been a real estate professional for 15 years and joined the management team at Long & Foster’s Columbia office in August 2012. She believes the home buying and selling experience should be a rewarding one for clients and stresses the responsibilities that agents have to their clients. She is currently the president elect for the Howard County Association of Realtors.
