Stan Zaremba, an office manager with Long & Foster Real Estate’s Ocean City, Md., office, the largest family-owned residential real estate company in the United States, has been appointed by the Coastal Association of Realtors to serve a 1-year term on its board of directors. The board of directors is the governing body of the Coastal Association of Realtors (CAR). Zaremba was sworn into his role on Oct. 6.
“I’m honored to be able to serve my fellow agents and local Realtor community in my new role on the CAR board of directors,” Zaremba said. “I’m very fortunate to be working for a fantastic company such as Long & Foster, which provides support at every level, as well as the team of excellent agents at the Ocean City office. I’m proud of the work we do both in the office and in the community and I’m excited to put my skills to work on the CAR board.
Zaremba also serves on the Realtors Political Action Committee of CAR, and he has previously served on the Grievance Committee of his local board of Realtors when he lived in New Jersey. A Realtor since 1986, Zaremba has worked with a number of companies in various roles, including as an agent for Schlott Realtors in New Jersey, as an office manager for Coldwell Banker in New Jersey, where he received the CB President’s Council award 10 out of the 14 years he served the company.
After Zaremba and his wife became empty nesters, they migrated to Delaware, where he began working in real estate in Delaware and Maryland, and joined Long & Foster 3 years ago. In 2014, Zaremba was nominated for Long & Foster’s Foster Cup award. Zaremba holds his associate broker’s license in New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland.
