Rob Hanson has been named managing broker of Long & Foster Real Estate’s Moorestown, New Jersey, office. Hanson, who brings many years of real estate experience as an agent, manager and trainer, is well respected in the local Realtor community.

Hanson comes to Long & Foster from a competing local brokerage, where he led an office of over 140 agents who handled about $260M+ in annual sales. He’s been in real estate management for five years, and he excels at motivating and inspiring Realtors to achieve their business goals. His previous brokerage even recognized him as its “Mentor of the Year” for the invaluable training and expertise he shared with his agents.

“Long & Foster’s Moorestown office is the premier office in Burlington County, and I’m excited to lead the team and help the company in its future growth in south Jersey,” said Hanson. “Having been a top-producing agent for many years, I know what it takes to achieve success—from the systems and processes, to the mindset and attitude—and I’m willing to help the Moorestown associates achieve whatever their goals and dreams may be.”

Before moving into management, Hanson was a top-producing agent for over 10 years, earning the NJ Realtors Circle of Excellence Sales Award each of those years. He previously worked with Long & Foster and was named its Rookie of the Year in the late 2000s.

“I’m confident that Rob’s positive approach and business skills will benefit our Moorestown office, as well as the New Jersey region,” said Gary Scott, president of Long & Foster Real Estate.  “His passion for motivating and inspiring agents shows, and we welcome Rob to our team.”

Born into a real estate family, Hanson was exposed to the industry at an early age. His father owned a real estate and appraisal company, and Hanson began his career as an apprentice appraiser at age 10 and obtained his real estate license at age 18. Prior to starting his career in real estate, Hanson owned and grew several businesses, including a travel company.
