Long & Foster Real Estate, the largest family-owned residential real estate company in the United States, has announced that its Center City and South Philadelphia offices had a terrific sales month during June.
According to Bob Albanese, senior regional vice president of the Philadelphia region, “The year-to-date sales volume at our Philadelphia offices is up by 41 percent over last year, and the number of homes sold has increased by 19 percent.”
“In addition, our average sale price increased by 39 percent over last June, a great sign if you are contemplating selling your home,” said Camilo Concepcion, manager of the Philadelphia offices.
“Consumer confidence has risen with the economy this year and is up 16 percent over last year,” said Gary Scott, president of Long & Foster Real Estate. “Our Philadelphia sales professionals recognize that this is a great market to help both local buyers and sellers reach their homeownership goals, and we expect to see continued improvements in the region’s real estate market in 2015.”
