Muren ranks among top 100 associates at leading brokerage

Mike Muren, a sales associate with Long & Foster Real Estate, attended the company’s Top 100 Elite Performers Retreat in Charleston, South Carolina, on Sept. 7 – 9.

Muren is an associate with the company’s Premier Group office in Frederick, Maryland. The company’s 100 highest ranking agents by 2021 sales volume and its 100 top agents by 2021 transaction sides were invited to the retreat, and Muren joined his Long & Foster associates for networking, business development and industry analysis.

“It was a great opportunity to network with other top professionals from different markets,” Muren said. “Understanding what they’re saying allows us to get a personal perspective on market trends which is very helpful in making sure we give the best possible advice to our clients.”

The retreat featured a variety of networking and business development programs, as well as an engaging keynote address by Shawn Anchor, author of The Happiness Factor. Anchor shared insight on how small positive shifts in our mindset can lead to stellar performance, and other advice to help Long & Foster’s top associates remain at the peak of the industry. Other sessions were held on topics such as agent tools, technology and marketing practices.

Muren has been a Realtor since 2002, and he joined Long & Foster in 2011. In 2013 Muren founded the Premier Group of Long & Foster Real Estate. The Premier Group just celebrated more than $1 billion in sales, representing more than 2,400 homes across Frederick and the surrounding counties.
