Tina Holt, managing broker with Long & Foster Real Estate’s Oceanfront, Shore Drive, and Eastern Shore Offices, has been appointed by the Coastal Virginia Women’s Council of Realtors (WCR) to serve on its Events Committee.
The WCR is recognized as the voice for women in real estate, and the premier source for the development of leaders in the industry. Holt will serve on the committee starting in 2020.
“I have loved the real estate industry since I began my career in 1993, as a sales agent,” said Holt. “In 2002, I began serving in management at a leadership capacity. Helping people reach their highest potential is my passion in life and that passion aligns perfectly with WCR’s mission statement of advancing women as business leaders in the industry and in the communities we serve.”
Holt has been affiliated with Long & Foster’s Oceanfront office since 2013 and Long & Foster’s Shore Drive Coastal/Eastern Shore offices since 2017.
During Holt’s career, she has earned multiple designations including Residential Marketing Master, Accredited Buyer’s Representative and Senior Real Estate Specialist, while becoming a top producer and serving on several committees with the Roanoke Valley Association of Realtors.
Holt has been an active member of the Hampton Roads Realtors Association for 26 years and is currently on the Professional Standards Committee. She also serves as vice chair on the REALTOR/Lawyer Committee.
A certified leadership coach and motivational speaker, Holt travels around the states several times a year, adding value to others. Holt has three adult sons, which currently serve or have served in the military, and five grandchildren. In her spare time, Holt enjoys time with family and traveling.
