Long & Foster Real Estate, the largest privately owned residential real estate company in the United States, has announced that the Taylor Agostino Group of its Chevy Chase Uptown office is sponsoring this year’s Paws for a Cause event. The festival supports the Washington Humane Society-Washington Animal Rescue League and will be held on Sept. 10 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the PNC Bank located at 5530 Connecticut Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C.
The Taylor Agostino Group has long supported nonprofits in its community, and the group’s love of dogs sparked their interest in sponsoring the first annual Paws for a Cause.
“We are pleased to be one of the premier sponsors of the Paws for a Cause event this year. It will be a wonderful opportunity to connect with other dog lovers in the community in a fun and festive setting while supporting the ongoing critical services provided by the Washington Humane Society-Washington Animal Rescue League,” said Nancy Taylor, founder of the Taylor Agostino Group.
The Washington Humane Society -Washington Animal Rescue League combined organization cares for more than 60,000 animals annually. The broad range of programs offered include: rescue and adoption, humane law enforcement, low-cost veterinary services, animal care & control, behavior and training, spay-neuter services, humane education, and many others. Operating four animal-care facilities in Washington, D.C., the organization occupies a significant footprint in the District, and serves as a resource to current pet guardians and prospective adopters across the region.
The Paws for a Cause fundraising event is open to all canines and their owners and features a raffle, dog parade, games, a “pawparazzi” photographer and more. To RSVP, email steve.agostino@lnf.com. For more information, call 202-236-0749.
