Long & Foster Real Estate is proud to announce that Sue Plaskon, a sales agent with the Old Ivy office, has been inducted into the Charlottesville Area Association of Realtors (CAAR) Hall of Fame.

To be eligible for the Hall of Fame award, Realtors must have at least 25 years of continuous service as members of CAAR and have made significant contributions to the community and the real estate industry.

Foster continued by saying that “Sue spent many years as Director of Training for a local residential brokerage company. In fact, many of the more than a thousand active Realtors in the Charlottesville area were originally trained by Sue or from someone that Sue mentored.”

Plaskon has been a professional in the real estate industry for the past 44 years. She has a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Connecticut. She is an Associate Broker and a Certified Residential Specialist. Plaskon has been active with the Public Affairs Group at CAAR and has been a member of the Professional Honor Society for 19 years. In the past, she has helped raise money and coordinate the Women’s Multiple Sclerosis luncheon for the Charlottesville Multiple Sclerosis Society. She lives in Charlottesville with her husband, Steve, and enjoys seeing her son and his family in Williamsburg as often as possible.
