Virginia Beach, VA — The Oceanfront/Coastal office of Long & Foster Real Estate is proud to share the successful completion of its 6th Annual Notes for Neighbors campaign, a community-focused initiative that allows real estate agents, brokerage staff, and local residents to give back in a meaningful way.

Running from October 20 through December 15, the campaign invited participants to create handwritten holiday cards for seniors in local retirement homes and rehabilitation facilities throughout the Virginia Beach community. Thanks to the generosity of Long & Foster agents, staff, and community members, 172 heartfelt holiday cards were collected and will be delivered to neighbors in need this season.

Each year, Notes for Neighbors brings together neighbors, friends, and community members to share the spirit of the holidays with seniors who may otherwise spend this time without visitors. The simple act of writing a card offers warmth, connection, and a reminder that they are loved and remembered.

“This long-standing tradition has become a meaningful way for our community to come together,” said representatives of the Oceanfront/Coastal office. “A simple note can mean so much, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped spread kindness, warmth, and holiday cheer this season.”

Community members were invited to drop off cards at the Oceanfront/Coastal office, located at 800 Laskin Road, Virginia Beach, reinforcing Long & Foster’s ongoing commitment to supporting and uplifting the local community.
