Event allows real estate agents, brokerage to give back to the local community
The Oceanfront/Coastal office of Long & Foster Real Estate will collect “Notes for Neighbors” through Dec. 11. The handwritten holiday cards will be collected and distributed to several local retirement homes and rehabilitation facilities in the Virginia Beach area.
“We’re excited to announce that we’re gearing up for our fourth annual Notes for Neighbors campaign, said Tina Holt, senior vice president & regional manager of Long & Foster’s Hampton Roads and Northeast North Carolina region. “It’s that time of the year again, when we come together to spread some much-needed joy and holiday cheer.”
If you would like to contribute to Notes for Neighbors, please bring holiday cards to Long & Foster’s Oceanfront/Coastal office, located at 800 Laskin Road, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Cards should contain a brief message and have no return address on them.
Long & Foster sales associates and employees from throughout the company participate each year in a variety of volunteer activities during Community Service Day. In past years, these activities included cleaning up, refurbishing and repairing nearby parks, schools, shelters, homes and daycare centers, and providing other assistance to local organizations that offer crucial services to the community.
