Consumers give office high marks in on-line poll of the greatest around

Long & Foster® Real Estate, Inc., the largest independent residential real estate company in the United States, announced today that its Ocean City, Md., office, located at 11701 Coastal Highway, has been voted the Best Real Estate Agency in the city for 2013 by Greatest Around Ocean City™, an internet –based company that facilitates friendly competition among businesses by conducting on-line polls to determine how communities rank local businesses.

According to the Greatest Around Ocean City website, the community-driven poll is designed to help promote awareness about the best in commerce and tourism Ocean City has to offer. The company, which is owned by Efferent Media, asks community members to nominate the businesses and places they think are the best. Nominations that receive 25 or more votes are then included in an online poll and community members are asked to vote for their favorites in each category. According to the company, the polls are unbiased because no advertising is accepted from winners.
