Long & Foster Real Estate is proud to announce Mary Katherine “MK” King, a sales agent with the Old Ivy office, has earned the 2020 Salesperson of the Year award from the Charlottesville Area Association of Realtors (CAAR).
Nominees for Salesperson of the Year are REALTORS who distinguish themselves as top producers in their marketplace, while actively being involved in the association and civic affairs and continuing to improve their skills by obtaining education and professional designations.

King is a 2017 graduate of the Pat Jensen Leadership Academy. From 2019 to 2020, she served on CAAR’s Board of Directors. She is the State Communications Leader for the Virginia Residential Real Estate Council from 2020 to 2021, has been the Avon Community Advisory Board Vice Chair since 2019. She has been actively involved as a member of the Fundraising Events Committee for the Shelter for Help in Emergency since 2016.

King has been a professional in the real estate industry for 12 years. She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia in Engineering. She lives in Charlottesville with her husband and daughter. They are expecting their second child this spring.
