The shred day will take place on June 14 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Lexington Park Office office will be just one of Long & Foster’s nearly 180 sales offices throughout the firm’s seven-state, Mid-Atlantic, Washington, D.C. and Northeast regions, to perform service projects within the communities they serve.

To help the residents of St. Mary’s county avoid falling victim to those who would use their information nefariously, Long & Foster’s Lexington Park office is providing this free service to allow confidential documents to be destroyed confidently and on site.”

Long & Foster sales associates and employees from throughout the company, including staff from its headquarters located in Chantilly, Va., will participate in a variety of volunteer activities such as working to clean up, refurbish and repair nearby parks, schools, shelters, homes, day care centers and local organizations that provide crucial services to the community.
