Long & Foster Real Estate’s Cumberland, Maryland, office celebrated another year of bringing smiles to area children at Christmas by once again taking part in Toys for Tots.

This year’s annual Toys for Tots campaign was a huge success with many generous contributions made by the office’s sales agents and staff. The office, which is located at 138 Baltimore Street, held an annual holiday luncheon on Dec. 14, which served as the concluding event for the collection.

Local Allegany County Toys for Tots Coordinator John Parsons, U.S. Marine Corps retired, was joined by active Marines, Lance Cpl. Cody Bowers and Lance Cpl. Anthony Pitts, to collect the offices toys on behalf of the program. This is the 26th year Long & Foster has participated in the Toys for Tots program.

“The Toys for Tots initiative is always a fun, important cause and we’re happy to have been able to participate in the event once again,” said John Macy, manager of the Cumberland Sales office. “It’s great to know that by collecting toys during the holiday season, we helped ensure children who are less fortunate in our area have a more cheerful holiday.”
