Long & Foster Real Estate’s Commercial Division announced today the sale of a 10,000 square foot office building in Merrifield, Virginia. The seller was represented by Kathy Killion and Bakh Safarov, commercial real estate associates of Long & Foster Commercial Division, in Tysons, Virginia.
The office building, located at 3020 Javier Road in the heart of Merrifield, is just a few blocks from the Mosaic District. The property was purchased by an investor, who is planning to lease it to a day care center.
“Kathy Killion and Bakh Safarov were an enthusiastic and effective team in approaching and coordinating a combination of rental and sales options,” said the seller. “The promotional materials and signage were well done. Kathy and Bakh responded rapidly to inquiries and were willing to work overtime to get counter-offer paperwork returned promptly and with correct details. The team was knowledgeable about the local market and realistic in evaluating financing options available to buyer prospects. Kathy and Bakh brought us multiple offers at the asking price and achieved terms beneficial to both seller and buyer. I highly recommend them.”
“We’re very pleased to have negotiated this transaction,” said Jonathan Butt, managing broker of the Long & Foster Commercial Division. “We’re confident this will be a good fit for the buyer’s needs.”
