Virginia Beach, VA June 11, 2026 — The Long & Foster Oceanfront/Coastal Office is proud to announce its upcoming Community Service Day initiative, dedicated to supporting local nonprofit organizations and strengthening community impact across Virginia Beach.

As part of this year’s Community Service plan, the office is honored to support Hope For Life Rescue, a Virginia Beach-based animal rescue located just minutes from the Oceanfront office. Founded in 2002, Hope For Life Rescue provides compassionate care, safe shelter, and second chances to animals in need throughout the region.

Community Donation Drive

In preparation for Community Service Day, Long & Foster Oceanfront/Coastal Office will be collecting donations on-site. All collected items will be delivered together to Hope For Life Rescue during the volunteer service event.

New and gently used donations are welcome, and community members are encouraged to contribute items they may already have at home, including:

🐾 Towels, blankets, and washcloths
🐾 Dog and cat beds
🐾 Dog and cat toys and stuffed animals
🐾 Purina dog and cat food
🐾 Litter and litter boxes
🐾 Collars, leashes, crates, and carriers
🐾 Paper towels, trash bags, and cleaning supplies
🐾 Laundry detergent and potty pads

Donations may be dropped off at the Oceanfront Office for collection and organization.

Making a Difference Together

“Every donation helps provide comfort, care, and hope to animals waiting for their forever homes,” the office shared. Community Service Day reflects Long & Foster’s ongoing commitment to giving back and supporting organizations that make a meaningful difference in the lives of local residents and animals alike.

Hope For Life Rescue also maintains several wish lists for those who prefer to contribute directly by purchasing needed supplies.
