Bonnie Casper, a Realtor with Long & Foster Real Estate, the largest independent residential real estate company in the United States, has been elected to serve as the president-elect of the Maryland Association of Realtors. Her term as president-elect begins on Oct. 1, 2014 and ends on Sept. 30, 2015.
“I’m very excited about helping to guide this great professional association for the good of the agents and brokers and the community and consumers, as we continue to face the many challenges ahead,” Casper said.
A Realtor since 2000, Casper has been affiliated with Long & Foster’s Bethesda Gateway office since that time and has been a top producing agent and is a member of the Gold Team. She also holds the National Association of Realtor’s Green Designation.
Casper has been an active member of the Maryland Association of Realtors for 14 years, and has served on a number of its committees including, Legislative Committee (Chair 2014), Realtors Political Action Committee (Treasurer 2013-2014), Finance, Executive and Housing Affordability committees. Casper was named the 2014 Greater Capital Area’s Realtor of the Year. She currently also serves on the State and Local Committee for the National Association of Realtors. She has served as a director of NAR, and in 2012 was president of the local Realtor association, Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors.
Active in the community as well, Casper currently is a member of the Metro Bethesda Rotary Club and Leadership Montgomery. Casper holds a degree from the George Washington University and currently resides in Potomac with her husband, Mark Winston, and daughter, Blair.
