Beverly Hills Sales office volunteered with Connor’s Heroes Foundation
The Beverly Hills Sales office is just one of Long & Foster’s nearly 170 sales offices throughout the firm’s seven-state, Mid-Atlantic, Washington, D.C. and Northeast region to perform service projects within the communities they serve, according to manager Susan Swink.
“Connor’s Heroes Foundation provides backpacks for children newly diagnosed with cancer and their parents. Certainly, they have been rocked by the diagnosis and all that it means for their family. Connor’s Heroes helps provide them with some of the ‘little things’ that they may need allowing them to focus on other things, including getting their child well,” Swink said.
Long & Foster sales associates and employees from throughout the company, including staff from its headquarters located in Chantilly, Va., participated in a variety of volunteer activities such as working to clean up, refurbish and repair nearby parks, schools, shelters, homes, day care centers and local organizations that provide crucial services to the community.
“Community Service Day is a long-standing demonstration of Long & Foster’s commitment to the communities we serve,” said Jeffrey S. Detwiler, president and chief operating officer of The Long & Foster® Companies. “Our sales associates and staff gain a tremendous sense of personal satisfaction by contributing their time, money and effort. Our many community service programs make a powerful statement about Long & Foster’s spirit, commitment and concern,” he added.
In addition to its dedication to serving the community, Long & Foster Real Estate, Inc., is committed to the success of its sales associates and is an industry leader in providing the latest and best tools, technology and training.
