Agents in the leading office sold more than $1.2B in volume for the year
The Bethesda Gateway office of Long & Foster | Christie’s International Real Estate, the nation’s No. 1 independent real estate brand by sales volume, ended the year on a high note. The more than 200 agents in the leading Bethesda, Maryland, office sold over $1.2 billion in real estate, with more than 1,875 transactions in 2017.
The Bethesda Gateway office’s sales volume exceeded all other Long & Foster locations for the year, earning them the position of the brokerage’s No. 1 office by volume for 2017. What is even more noteworthy is that if the Bethesda Gateway location were its own independent real estate brokerage, it would have ranked in the top 200 brokerages nationwide, according to the REAL Trends 500 list of the nation’s top brokerages by sales volume.
“Many of the industry’s best real estate agents have chosen to call our Bethesda Gateway office home, and it’s thanks to their expertise, market knowledge and exceptional service that we’ve become known as the go-to brokerage for area buyers and sellers—in both traditional and luxury home sales,” said Leon Nasar, senior branch manager of the Bethesda Gateway office. “We’re thrilled to again rank as Long & Foster | Christie’s No. 1 office by sales volume, and we’re confident that we’ll continue to grow and serve even more clients throughout the D.C. metro and Montgomery County in the years to come.”
Larry “Boomer” Foster, president of Long & Foster Real Estate, agreed with Nasar, sharing his excitement for the office’s 2017 accomplishment.
“I’d like to congratulate the entire team at the Bethesda Gateway office on their sales success again last year,” said Foster. “These top-ranking real estate professionals are a reflection of our entire team of experts and the fact that so many clients have put their trust in them shows a true commitment to helping clients meet their homeownership goals.”
