Long & Foster Real Estate has been voted the No. 2 Top Workplace by its D.C. metro area employees and recognized in The Washington Post in their annual Top Workplaces competition.
“We are honored to have been named as the No. 2 workplace in the D.C. region this year,” said Larry “Boomer” Foster, president of Long & Foster Real Estate. “This award is a true testament to our agents and employees who work hard every day to provide our clients with the best possible experience. It’s these efforts that enable us to remain the top real estate company in the D.C. metro area and in the Mid-Atlantic.”
The Top Workplaces lists are based solely on the results of employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. Several aspects of workplace culture are measured in the anonymous survey, on topics from employee development to innovation.
The Washington Post recognized 200 top-ranked companies at an awards ceremony on June 16. Companies were placed into four categories, ranging by the organization’s size. Long & Foster earned honors in the Top Workplaces large companies category. The complete list of winners will be featured in a special Top Workplaces magazine in the June 17 edition of The Washington Post. You can also view the complete list by clicking here.
