Sleek, modern new office slated to open in mid-July
Long & Foster Real Estate is pleased to announce it will be opening a new office in D.C.’s popular Navy Yard community. The new office, which is expected to open in mid-July, will be located at 1300 4th St., S.E., Suite 110, in Washington, D.C.
As the first major residential real estate office in the neighborhood, the space is double the size of the Long & Foster’s current Capitol Hill office. The modern and light-filled design will consist of space for agents, a training center for new agents and offices for other team members including Long & Foster affiliates, Prosperity Home Mortgage and RGS Title.
“Long & Foster is looking forward to being part of the Navy Yard community,” said Lonnie Plaster, regional manager of Washington, D.C. and Montgomery County. “While other companies are scaling back, Long & Foster is continuing to grow. Our new location will allow us to provide best-in-class customer service to our clients in the Navy Yard, Capitol Riverfront, Anacostia, Congress Heights and Capitol Hill.”
The office will be managed by Yanira Rodriguez, who is also the managing broker of Long & Foster’s Capitol Hill office. Rodriguez has been a part of the Long & Foster family for more than 20 years. A native of the D.C. metro region, Rodriguez first joined Long & Foster as an administrative assistant. In that role, she learned the ins and outs of the business before earning her real estate license. For several years, she served as the technology trainer in the D.C. region, teaching agents how to leverage the company-provided tools to grow and develop their businesses
Agents, staff, the leadership team, and members of Long & Foster’s affiliated companies gathered together for a hard hat tour of the new office on June 29.
