Long & Foster Real Estate, the largest independent residential real estate company in the United States, is pleased to announce that it has opened its newest office in Staunton, Va., located at 16 Gosnell Crossing. Max Hirtriter has been named managing broker of this office, which serves the Shenandoah Valley and nearby areas, including Staunton, Waynesboro, Fishersville and the surrounding counties and towns. A grand opening is scheduled for Wednesday, June 3 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

“Long & Foster is committed to growing our presence in the Shenandoah Valley. We started our sales operation in this area of central Virginia during the fourth quarter of 2014 and the opening of the Staunton/Waynesboro office allows us to increase our footprint and better serve home buyers and sellers throughout the region,” said Scott Shaheen, senior regional vice president of Long & Foster Real Estate. “Additionally, having a leader like Max Hirtriter, who is active in the community, provides us with a unique understanding of the local market and the needs of its residents.”

“I’m thrilled to be launching this new Long & Foster office and leading a top team of 25 agents who will receive the best in training, technology and tools available to them,” Hirtriter said. “Not only does Long & Foster have excellent brand recognition, but it’s a company that puts its agents and clients first. We’re excited and ready to put our skills to work in the local community.”

Opening this new office aligns with Long & Foster’s plan to expand our ability to provide unparalleled customer service to our buyers and sellers and our continued growth is one of the reasons we are the No. 1 firm throughout the mid-Atlantic, said Boomer Foster, president of Long & Foster Real Estate.

“For more than 45 years, Long & Foster has been home to the best-trained, best-equipped real estate agents and leaders in the industry, and we have no doubt that the new Staunton/Waynesboro office will be the go-to resource when consumers in this area of Virginia are looking to make confident, well-informed buying and selling decisions,” Foster said.
