Mary Bowen named as managing broker for Arlington, Falls Church offices
Long & Foster Real Estate has added to its leadership team in the Arlington and Falls Church region to meet the growing needs of buyers and sellers in that area. Mary Bowen has been named managing broker, and Carolina Hurtado has been appointed sales manager of the company’s Arlington and Falls Church/Arlington offices. In addition, Valerie Hardee will work alongside Bowen in the training and mentoring of new agents.
A graduate of the University of Mary Washington with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Bowen has been with Long & Foster since 2009. During her tenure, she has served in a variety of leadership and mentoring roles, and her focus on training and coaching have proven invaluable to the Realtors on her teams. As an active member of the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors, Bowen has led various groups such as the Young Professional Network and the New Agent Advisory Committee.
“Arlington and Falls Church are hot markets, and our teams here rank amongst the best real estate professionals in the business, said Bowen. “I’m thrilled to lead and support them in all their business needs, so that they can be successful in their careers while providing best-in-class customer service to area buyers, sellers, renters and investors.”
Hurtado, a sales leader with nearly 15 years of real estate experience, has been with Long & Foster since 2015. Most recently, she worked as a sales manager and mentor in the Fairfax Centre office. There, she leveraged her love of teamwork and training to drive agents’ business development.
“Mary, Carolina and Valerie’s backgrounds and skills complement each other well,” said Karen Kidwell, senior vice president and regional manager of Long & Foster. “I’m confident the combination of their leadership and support will ensure the ongoing success of Long & Foster’s presence in the Arlington and Falls Church area.”
