Betty Batty, a top-producing agent in the Washington, D.C., region, has joined Long & Foster | Christie’s International Real Estate, the nation’s No. 1 privately owned residential real estate company. Batty, a Maryland native, brings a strong knowledge of the area’s real estate market and more than six years of experience with her to the Long & Foster team in Bethesda.

Batty began her real estate career after 14 years at a national nonprofit, where she worked as the director of finance and development, managing the organization’s budgets, fundraising and planning successful events. She has previously worked with Coldwell Banker and Keller Williams. While with Coldwell Banker, she consistently received their annual International President’s Circle Award and ranked among the brokerage’s top 10 agents in the D.C. region. Betty was most recently recognized as one of the top 1 percent out of 47,000 agents.

Batty is an expert in the Montgomery county real estate market, and she sells on average 35 homes each year. She is a Certified Negotiation Expert and holds the National Association of Realtor’s Green Designation. Batty is a member of the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors, the Maryland Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors, and she has received numerous awards as an agent.
The University of Maryland graduate focuses on maintaining high professional standards and her clients often recognize her for her strong negotiating skills, extensive market knowledge, honesty and high level of customer service.
In addition to her passion for real estate, Batty is committed to her philanthropic endeavors. She currently serves as an ambassador of the DC Diaper Bank and coordinates a local coat, hat and mitten drive called Warming Communities each fall. She is also involved in the local parent-teacher association, and she holds volunteer positions within her community, including as the president of the Warriors Girls Youth Lacrosse program.
