Koch, a nearly 30-year real estate veteran, leads The Elaine Koch Group and is returning to Long & Foster after working with a competing local franchise. At 18, Koch started her career at Long & Foster while pursuing her undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland and working for a new homebuilder. “Being back at Long & Foster is being back at HOME for me,” Koch said.

Since starting her career, she has built a successful real estate team in the D.C. metro area by taking a comprehensive approach to property marketing and employing strong negotiation skills to help her clients gain the best value in their real estate investments. Koch also has a love for interior design, and that passion translates to added value for her listing clients, who benefit from her staging suggestions. Each marketing plan she develops for a listing includes design recommendations, ensuring the homes she sells are presented to their fullest potential.

In addition to her real estate sales and interior design expertise, Koch brings knowledge of the new homes and real estate development markets. Her grandfather was a real estate developer in Northern Virginia and his career sparked her interest in the business at a young age.

Koch and her group bring over 10 decades of real estate experience and expertise. At their previous local firm, they ranked as the top team in their office year after year. They were also recognized as a top team by Bethesda Magazine, Washingtonian magazine and Real Producers, and they have received numerous awards from the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors (GCAAR).
