Long & Foster Real Estate has named Greg Skipper managing broker of its Columbia, Md., office. In this role, Skipper will oversee the Columbia location in addition to the company’s offices in Eldersburg, Taneytown and Cattail Creek, strengthening collaboration and support for agents across the region.
Skipper brings a people-first approach to leadership shaped by a diverse professional background and years of experience serving homebuyers and sellers throughout Maryland and southern Pennsylvania. After spending nearly two decades as a restaurant manager in the service industry, he transitioned to real estate in 2015 and has since helped hundreds of clients achieve their homeownership goals.
“I’m honored to have this opportunity to work alongside such a talented group of professionals and continue to impact our local communities through our Columbia office,” Skipper said. “Long & Foster has always been about putting people first, and I’m excited to support our agents as they continue delivering exceptional service to buyers and sellers throughout the region.”
According to Kenneth Fagan, senior vice president and regional manager of Long & Foster in Maryland, Skipper’s expanded role serves as an opportunity to bring offices in the area closer together while strengthening the support provided to agents and clients alike.
“Greg has a natural ability to connect with people and bring teams together,” Fagan said. “By aligning the Columbia office with our Taneytown, Eldersburg and Cattail Creek locations under his leadership, we’re creating stronger collaboration across the region. That ultimately benefits our agents and, most importantly, the consumers who rely on Long & Foster to guide them through one of life’s most important decisions.”
