Fonville Morisey Realty has named Gayle Claris as the vice president and sales manager of its Chapel Hill, N.C., office.
“We are so happy to have Gayle on our team,” said Rod Eller, senior vice president and regional manager of Fonville Morisey. “Gayle’s passion for real estate along with her experience, knowledge and care for others is a terrific addition to the Fonville Morisey Realty family.”
Claris began her career in shopping center marketing, and eventually she became the sales and marketing manager for two internet start-up companies. In 2004, she left her position to work with her husband in the development of coastal properties and work as an active realtor in a Topsail Island firm. In 2009, Claris brought her career back to Chapel Hill, where she has been working as an active broker ever since.
Claris has served on the Orange Chatham Association of Realtors board of directors for the last seven years. She is also involved in many community organizations, such as Prevent Child Abuse N.C., the Morehead Planetarium and Science Center, Blanket Orange and Meals on Wheels. She and her husband, Woody, have two children and two rescued miniature poodles.
“I look forward to bringing a sense of fun, camaraderie and community involvement to the office, as well as expanding the Fonville Morisey family in Chapel Hill,” said Claris. “I hope to create an atmosphere of support amongst all agents, new and well-established alike.”
