Deserie L. Hirsch, a sales associate with Long & FosterReal Estate’s Tyson’s Corner sales office, has earned the Seniors Real Estate Specialist designation. Long & Foster is the largest independent residential real estate company in the United States.

Awarded by the SRES Council, an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors, the SRES designation recognizes Hirsch as an expert in servicing and understanding the needs of the fast-growing senior market.

“I understand how overwhelming it may be to gather resources related to downsizing, having an estate sale, making donations, moving, unpacking and perhaps choosing a senior community,” Hirsch said. “Sometimes, the best option may be to assist seniors in finding solutions related to making modifications to their home so that they may age in place. At the end of the day, it’s really all about the quality of life and its transitions.”

A Realtor since 2009, Hirsch has been affiliated with Long & Foster for four years and is a member of the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors.
