Annapolis-based team ranked 187th in Wall Street Journal’s Top 250
Long & Foster® Real Estate, Inc., the largest independent residential real estate company in the United States announced today that the “Mr. Waterfront”® Group led by Charlie Buckley and based in Annapolis, Md., ranked 187th out of 250 for real estate teams nationwide, based on transaction volume in 2012, as ranked by The Wall Street Journal and REAL Trends, Inc.
Buckley is an associate broker who specializes in waterfront and water-oriented properties in Annapolis, Anne Arundel County, and across the Bay Bridge on Kent Island, Md. He has been specializing in serving waterfront buyers and sellers full time since 1994, and has been the No. 1 volume real estate agent (out of all companies) in Annapolis since 1999. In addition, he sells more waterfront homes than anyone in the state of Maryland.

In total, 14 Long & Foster teams were ranked in the survey of the nation’s top 250 sales professionals by closed volume and transaction sides for 2012. One individual sales agent was ranked in the top 250 associates nationwide based on the amount of closed transactions volume.

The Wall Street Journal and REAL Trends, Inc. compile rankings for the Top Thousand based on surveys of previous applicants, as well as 900 of the largest US brokerage firms. An independent third party verifies all submissions, and staff from REAL Trends also reviews these submissions for accuracy. Now in its 7th year, the Top Thousand features the four total lists, the top 250 individual sales agents by sales volume and transaction sides, as well as the top 250 teams by sales volume and transaction sides.
