Biana Arentz, a sales associate with Long & Foster Real Estate, the largest family-owned residential real estate company in the United States, has been appointed to the board of directors of the Anne Arundel Medical Center Foundation. The foundation works to make an impact by advancing excellence in medical care.
A Realtor for more than 12 years, Arentz formerly served as the chair of the board of trustees for the Anne Arundel Medical Center. She and her husband, Steve, who is also a Realtor, are active in the community in a number of ways. Arentz is the founding board member and chair of the board of Bosom Buddies Charities, a local group of women dedicated to fighting breast cancer.
Originally from Puerto Rico, Arentz is a graduate of Georgetown University. She is the past director of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond and is fluent in Spanish. She and her family, which includes two children, reside in Queenstown, Md.
